Role Description

digitalfarm is seeking an experienced

Senior Account Manager – Social Media (Financial/Investment & Technology)

to lead and manage key client accounts within the finance, investment, and tech sectors.

This role requires a strong client-facing professional with a solid understanding of regulated industries, digital trends, and performance-driven social strategies.

You will be responsible for translating complex financial and technological concepts into clear, engaging, and compliant social media content and campaigns.

Working closely with internal teams, you will ensure all outputs are strategically sound, creatively strong, and aligned with both brand objectives and industry regulations.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident managing sophisticated clients, understands the nuances of financial communications and tech innovation, and can balance creativity with accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for financial, investment, and technology clients, building strong and trusted relationships.
  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with client objectives, industry trends, and regulatory considerations.
  • Translate complex financial and technical concepts into engaging, audience-friendly content.
  • Oversee content calendars, creative briefs, and production workflows, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Lead client communications, presentations, and reporting with a high level of professionalism.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide data-backed recommendations for optimization.
  • Ensure all content adheres to regulatory and compliance guidelines where applicable.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to overall team development.
  • Stay up to date with financial markets, investment trends, fintech developments, and platform innovations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 4–6+ years of experience in social media marketing, with at least 2 years in an account management role within an agency.
  • Proven experience managing clients in financial services, investment, fintech, or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of compliance considerations in financial communications is highly preferred.
  • Ability to simplify complex information into clear, engaging content.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in performance tracking and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency across major social platforms and analytics tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in the UAE market is preferred.
  • Arabic language skills are a plus.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be based in Abu Dhabi.
  • Must have prior social media agency experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
