Key duties and responsibilities
- Oversee hotel security procedures and maintain a safe environment for guests, colleagues, and visitors.
- Support management of contractors, suppliers, and vendors; maintain relationships with local security authorities.
- Supervise Security Officers, including professional service, deployment, daily briefings, and equipment readiness.
- Monitor car-park security, master keys, and access control; review VIP arrivals and daily operations for security coverage.
- Handle and investigate incidents and emergencies confidentially; coordinate the Security Fire Fighting Team during emergencies.
- Conduct security training, identify process improvements, and keep senior management informed of relevant security matters.
Requirements
- Previous hotel security experience; luxury hospitality experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and incident-management skills; knowledge of local security procedures and authorities.
- Fluent in Arabic and English; professional, proactive, and guest-focused approach.
