Security Operations Center Manager

Role and operating context

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, schedule, and manage CCTV Monitoring Agents and Security Operations Coordinators.
• Train staff on video monitoring, alarm response, officer dispatch, client communication, report writing, and command center platforms.
• Manage daily operations, staffing coverage, workflows, field-officer clock-ins, patrol compliance, and shift coverage.
• Review incident reports, logs, and communications; lead during emergencies and enforce company and client standards.
• Write and enforce SOPs; handle escalations, client concerns, and technical issues.
• Monitor equipment and software health and coordinate repairs with IT and vendors.
• Audit compliance, accuracy, and efficiency; coach, retrain, or correct staff and report trends and staffing needs to leadership.
• Build a professional team culture centered on customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken and written English is mandatory; candidates complete a phone interview and written English test.
• At least 5 years in a security operations center, monitoring station, control room, dispatch center, or similar setting.
• At least 2 years managing a team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of video surveillance, alarm systems, and dispatch procedures.
• Experience writing and reviewing incident and executive-level reports; ability to lead through emergencies.
• Strong skills with monitoring software, Microsoft Office, and web-based software.
• Must be available for any shift, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• A valid UAE residence visa or eligibility for company sponsorship is required.

Preferred qualifications

• AI-based security platform experience, guard-operations scheduling experience, police/military/emergency dispatch background, IT security or troubleshooting experience, and SIRA certification are nice to have.

Pay and benefits

• Salary is AED 9,000 to AED 16,000 per month, based on experience.

Schedule

• The operation runs 24/7; the manager must be available for any shift, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
