What You'll Do
Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, production spaces, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
