Security Engineer (CCTV, Access Control & Security Systems)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer with strong expertise in CCTV, Access Control Systems and Integrated Security Solutions, specifically with hands-on experience in CNL, KABA, and Genetec platforms. The ideal candidate should have 6 to 8 years of experience in designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise-grade security systems for critical infrastructure, airports, cargo facilities, or large commercial projects.

The role involves technical ownership of access control, video management, alarm monitoring, and system integration with third-party platforms such as CCTV, PSIM, Fire Alarm, and Building Management Systems. The candidate should be capable of supporting both project execution and operational maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support Access Control Systems, Video Management Systems (VMS), and integrated security platforms
• Manage and troubleshoot systems based on CNL, KABA, and Genetec technologies
• Support integration of Access Control with CCTV, PSIM, Fire Alarm, Intrusion Detection, Elevator Control, and other third-party systems
• Configure cardholders, access levels, door groups, schedules, alarms, and event monitoring workflows
• Perform system testing, commissioning, FAT, SAT, and handover activities
• Coordinate with contractors, OEM vendors, consultants, and clients for smooth project execution
• Review technical submissions, shop drawings, network architecture, and system design documents
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, security standards, and authority requirements
• Support fault diagnosis, incident resolution, preventive maintenance, and system optimization
• Prepare technical documentation including as-built drawings, test reports, method statements, and O&M manuals

Technical Skills Required

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• CNL (IPSecurityCenter / Integrated Security Platform)
• KABA (Dormakaba Access Control Systems)
• Genetec (Security Center / Synergis / Omnicast)
• Good understanding of:
• Access Control Systems
• Video Management Systems (VMS)
• PSIM Integration
• CCTV Integration
• Intrusion Detection Systems
• Visitor Management Systems
• Perimeter Security Systems
• Knowledge of controller architecture, door hardware, interface modules, reader technologies, and biometric integrations
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals related to security systems (IP addressing, VLANs, switching basics)
• Experience in server-client architecture and security database management

Preferred Certifications

• Genetec Certified Professional – Preferred
• Dormakaba / KABA OEM Certifications – Preferred
• CNL platform experience certification – Added advantage

Soft Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Good coordination with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
• Ability to work independently on project and operational requirements
• Strong documentation and reporting capabilities

Industry Preference

Experience in Airports, Cargo Facilities, Government Infrastructure, Critical Facilities, or Large Enterprise Security Projects will be highly preferred.
