Security Analyst

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure continuous compliance with ISO 27001 standards through regular monitoring and maintenance.
- Perform risk assessments and gap analyses to identify weaknesses in security governance frameworks.
- Develop, update, and review information security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and enhance deployed security technologies by refining configurations, developing use cases, and adapting to evolving threat landscapes.
- Establish and maintain robust data governance and data security frameworks.
- Design and deliver security awareness and training programs across the organization.
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities, including evidence gathering, conducting walkthroughs, and tracking remediation actions.
- Serve as a key liaison between security, IT, business units, and auditors to ensure alignment on security and compliance expectations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation repositories, including policies, procedures, risk assessments, and audit records.
- Manage the information security risk register, ensuring risks are accurately recorded, assessed, prioritized, and monitored.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, and/or CEH are required.
Professional Experience & Skills
- Strong technical understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure.
- Practical experience in cloud security and data governance (e.g., Microsoft Azure).
- Solid knowledge of network, system, and software security principles.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks, including implementation practices.
- Experience with penetration testing and vulnerability management.
- Knowledge of security technologies such as antivirus, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
