Summary
The SDMX Data Warehouse & Reporting Consultant will design and enhance enterprise data warehouse solutions compliant with SDMX standards to improve statistical data governance and reporting.
Main Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement SDMX-compliant data warehouse solutions.
- Define and maintain SDMX Data Structure Definitions (DSDs), metadata models, classifications, and code lists.
- Develop and support statistical indicators, KPIs, and reporting frameworks.
- Design and implement data integration and ETL processes from multiple source systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and data management requirements.
- Maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and governance documentation.
- Ensure data quality and compliance with standards.
- Support the implementation of data exchange mechanisms using SDMX standards.
- Design and develop dashboards and reports for decision-making.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, testing, and user acceptance support.
- Provide technical guidance on data architecture and reporting solutions.
- Prepare documentation and deliver knowledge transfer sessions.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Warehouse, BI, Data Integration, or Reporting projects.
- Hands-on experience with SDMX standards.
- Strong understanding of statistical data modelling and governance principles.
- Experience in designing enterprise data warehouse solutions.
- Expertise in developing KPIs, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Strong ETL development experience.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database design.
- Experience with data quality and validation processes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Nice to Have:
- Experience within Government, Public Sector, or Statistics Authorities.
- Experience with regulatory reporting frameworks.
- Knowledge of master data management frameworks.
- Experience in large-scale data transformation programs.
