Role Description
The Science Teacher (UK Curriculum) will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with UK curriculum standards, with a focus on building strong foundations in science across relevant key stages.
Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and preparing lessons, assessing student progress, providing feedback, maintaining accurate records, and supporting students of varying abilities.
The teacher will collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, participate in departmental and whole-school meetings, and contribute to school events and initiatives.
Classroom duties include creating a positive, inclusive learning environment, managing behavior effectively, and integrating practical experiments and inquiry-based learning.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.
Qualifications
- Strong Science Education background with the ability to teach across key stages in the UK curriculum.
- Subject expertise in Physics and solid understanding of related scientific disciplines.
- Competence in Mathematics to support science teaching and data interpretation.
- Status as a Qualified Teacher with recognized teaching credentials and classroom experience.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning, assessment design, and differentiation for mixed-ability groups.
- Experience teaching the UK curriculum in an international or multicultural school environment is highly beneficial.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding, student wellbeing, and ongoing professional development.
