Role overview

Raytheon seeks a candidate for its Production Control organization in Forest, Mississippi.

The role uses MRP and Shop Floor Control systems to align material availability, production schedules, and contractual requirements.

Metrics, system troubleshooting, communication, and process improvement support system health and production performance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate material requirements and approved material flow to meet production needs.
  • Plan manufacturing schedules, assess changes, and improve processes.
  • Prepare work-in-progress reports and coordinate on-time release and closure.
  • Audit inventory, reconcile MRP discrepancies, and track material availability and production risks.
  • Coordinate with quality, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, logistics, and other groups.
  • Expedite parts using move orders, stock transfers, and shipping requests; move material between warehouse, factory, and other areas.
  • Maintain materials compliance with company policies, guidelines, and site audits.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering by the start date.
  • Experience in Operations, Supply Chain, or Production Control.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility.

Preferred qualifications

  • Operations and Supply Chain Management is a preferred major.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills are preferred.
  • Experience using SAP/PRISM-based MRP systems is preferred.

Workplace

  • The position is onsite in Forest, Mississippi.

Compensation

  • Listed salary range is USD 51,500–97,900 yearly.
