Oversees safe erection, alteration, and dismantling of scaffolding structures while ensuring compliance with UAE safety regulations.
Leads scaffolding teams, inspects materials and structures, coordinates with site engineers, and supports project schedules.
Responsibilities
- Lead scaffolding teams and conduct daily toolbox talks and risk assessments using JSA.
- Inspect scaffolding structures daily and certify them with green, red, or yellow tags.
- Interpret construction drawings to determine scaffolding requirements and manage material inventory.
- Enforce working-at-height regulations and other safety standards to prevent accidents and protect structural integrity.
- Coordinate with site managers, contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders to meet project timelines.
Requirements
- At least seven years of scaffolding experience, including at least four years in a supervisory role.
- CISRS, OSHA, or equivalent scaffolding supervisor certification is typically required.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, tube-and-fitting scaffolds, and system scaffolds.
- Expertise in UAE construction-site safety standards.
