Oversees safe erection, alteration, and dismantling of scaffolding structures.
Ensures compliance with UAE safety regulations and structural integrity while supporting project schedules.
Responsibilities
- Lead scaffolding teams and conduct daily toolbox talks and job safety risk assessments.
- Inspect scaffolding daily and certify structures using green, red, and yellow tags.
- Interpret construction drawings, determine scaffolding needs, and manage material inventory.
- Enforce working-at-height and other safety standards to prevent accidents.
- Coordinate with site engineers, managers, contractors, and stakeholders to align with project timelines.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of scaffolding experience, including at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
- CISRS, OSHA, or equivalent scaffolding supervisor certification is typically required.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, tube-and-fitting scaffolds, and system scaffolds.
- Expertise in UAE construction site safety standards.
