Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP implementation and support projects; gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Configure, test, and deploy SAP modules in line with SAP standards and regulatory frameworks; provide module subject matter expertise.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and solution adoption; conduct workshops, training, and user acceptance testing.
• Ensure data integrity, security compliance, and audit readiness; contribute to solution architecture and continuous improvement.
• Manage and mentor junior consultants and client-side SAP teams.

SAP module knowledge

• Finance and controlling: SAP FI, CO, FM, GM, and PSM, including accounting, cost tracking, funds, grants, and public-sector budget compliance.
• Logistics and supply chain: SAP MM, WM/EWM, IM, SD, TM, and GTS, including procurement, inventory, warehousing, distribution, transport, and trade controls.
• Plant maintenance and assets: SAP PM, EAM, and CS for maintenance, asset lifecycle, and equipment repair.
• Projects and workforce: SAP PS, PPM, HCM, and SuccessFactors for project portfolios, personnel, payroll, talent, and workforce planning.
• Quality, compliance, and analytics: SAP QM, GRC, BW/4HANA, and Analytics Cloud for quality, governance, reporting, and dashboards.
• Technology and integration: SAP S/4HANA, BTP, PI/PO or Integration Suite, and Fiori; deployments may include on-premise or private cloud for classified environments.

Essential requirements

• At least five years delivering SAP solutions in highly regulated environments.
• Deep functional expertise in at least three listed SAP modules.
• Understanding of procurement frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at senior or executive level.

Desirable qualifications and experience

• SAP certification in one or more relevant modules is desirable.
• Knowledge of ITIL, PRINCE2, or Agile delivery methodologies is desirable.
• Experience with SAP RISE or private cloud deployment is desirable.
• A background in logistics, engineering, or programme management is desirable.
