SAP MM Functional Consultant

Job purpose

SAP configuration and functional delivery

• Configure enterprise structure, purchasing processes, and plant parameters; map business processes to SAP target-state solutions.
• Lead configuration in greenfield and brownfield implementations, especially sourcing and procurement.
• Configure purchasing, subcontracting, pricing, account determination, MRP, inventory movements, physical inventory, and release strategies.
• Use IDoc, BAPI, BDC, LSMW, and Fiori for integration, migration, and process automation; support interface development and testing.

Project, training, and support

• Participate in requirements gathering, blueprinting, solution design, testing, training, and go-live support.
• Coordinate across business analysts, developers, and SAP consultants; mentor junior consultants and support team members.
• Develop end-user training and maintain configuration, process, and support documentation.
• Prepare RICEF functional specifications and support design workshops and testing cycles.

Delivery and compliance

• Meet delivery schedules and targets, use resources efficiently, and report execution and deviations.
• Resolve related problems, escalate complex operational issues, and seek process automation and improvement.
• Follow applicable policies, quality controls, compliance procedures, and health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management Sciences and Systems or a relevant field.
• 4 to 6 years of work experience.
• Functional capability across SAP MM/WM/IM/LE, procurement, inventory, configuration, and implementation.
• Competencies include application standards and systems, systems analysis and design, and joint application development.
