Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP Commerce (Hybris) applications and modules, ensuring alignment with the business requirements and project goals.
• Customize and extend Hybris features including product catalogs, promotions, cart and checkout processes, order management, and customer account management.
• Hands-on experience across key SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) modules, including Product Content Management (PCM), WCMS, Order Management, Customer Service, Promotions & Vouchers, Payment, Search & Navigation (Solr), Checkout, User & Customer Account Management, and Integration (OCC/APIs).
• Integrate third-party systems, including payment gateways, external services, and API integrations.
• Implement multiple payment options including payment gateways, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay.
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement user-friendly, responsive, and scalable solutions that adhere to best practices in SAP Commerce.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code, and conduct unit tests to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues within Hybris applications and identify improvements to enhance overall performance and user experience.
• Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SAP CPI): Hands-on experience designing and implementing flows for integrating SAP Commerce Cloud with external and SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, ERP, CRM, payment providers). Strong understanding of message mapping, content modifiers, routing, exception handling, OData/IDoc/SOAP/REST adapters, security configuration (OAuth2, certificates), and monitoring/troubleshooting integrations via CPI dashboard.
• Ensure proper security practices including data protection, secure coding, PCI awareness, and API authentication mechanisms (OAuth, SSO).
• Required skills
• 7+ years of experience in SAP Hybris development and implementation.
• Proven experience implementing multiple payment methods (payment gateways, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay) in e-commerce platforms.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud, including developing, customizing, deploying solutions and B2B / B2C functionality.
• Solid understanding of e-commerce processes, such as product catalog management, promotions, pricing, checkout, and order management.
• Experience with backoffice customization, impex, flexible search, interceptors, cron jobs, and business process engine.
• Development experience in retail, e-commerce, or grocery delivery domain is essential
• Experience with Agile methodologies and development in Agile environments.
• SAP Commerce Cloud certification and exposure to headless commerce and SAP CPI are strong pluses.
