Project and role

Functional analysis and APIs

• Reverse-engineer C4CP processes, SAP dependencies, configuration, and data flows.
• Translate existing functionality into replacement requirements, including fields, rules, statuses, filters, and dependencies.
• Identify and assess SAP APIs; map business requirements and data elements to API fields.
• Validate API structures, filtering, business-partner restrictions, and impacts from deprecated or changed APIs.
• Recommend SAP-side solutions when standard APIs do not support required functionality.

Payments, disputes, and documents

• Cover invoice retrieval, full and partial payments, multiple-invoice payments, payment methods and status, statements, payment history, due dates, currency, payment blocks, credit, and open items.
• Define dispute creation and display needs; map reason codes, statuses, comments, notes, amounts, and attachment requirements.
• Define invoice display and download requirements and validate invoice, open-item, document, and attachment APIs.
• Validate authorization when customers retrieve invoices and other documents.

Customer data and integration

• Define customer and business-partner data requirements, account-to-user relationships, Sold-To authorization, and filtering rules.
• Support synchronization between the portal and master-data sources and ensure information is restricted to appropriate accounts.
• Collaborate on the portal-to-integration-layer-to-S/4HANA design, including services, mappings, connectivity, authentication, errors, and performance.
• Assess equivalent replacement configuration for payments, statements, disputes, attachments, layouts, labels, user assignments, and administration.

Testing and validation

• Develop SAP-focused functional and integration test scenarios and support SIT and UAT.
• Validate API response and data accuracy against C4CP and SAP behavior.
• Troubleshoot integration defects and test payment, dispute, invoice, master-data, and document scenarios.
• Support regression testing related to SAP upgrades and API changes.

Required qualifications

• Strong hands-on SAP S/4HANA and FI-AR experience.
• Experience with SAP C4CP or a closely related SAP customer-payment solution.
• Strong knowledge of customer payments, disputes, invoices, open items, and account statements.
• Experience with SAP APIs/OData, integration patterns, API mapping, and end-to-end troubleshooting.
• Ability to analyze API payloads, fields, filters, and dependencies and produce functional and technical specifications.

Desirable experience

• SAP FSCM / Dispute Management, SAP Integration Suite / CPI, and SAP Fiori are highly desirable.
• Customer/business-partner master-data, document or attachment retrieval, SAP SaaS modernization, and deprecated API replacement experience are desirable.
