Overview
- What you will actually do day to day:
- Stand at or near the salon entrance during peak hours actively engaging passersby — not waiting for them to walk in, going to them
- Greet every walk-in warmly, understand what they need, and close a booking on the spot
- Manage the appointment book — no gaps, no idle chairs
- Check customers in and out, process payments
- Send post-visit follow-up messages on WhatsApp to drive rebooking
- Inform every customer about ongoing offers, combos, and services they haven't tried
- Collect customer details accurately into the system after every visit
- Handle basic enquiries on WhatsApp and phone
- Keep the front desk and entrance area presentable at all times
- What we are looking for:
- 1–2 years experience as a receptionist or front desk in a salon, spa, or beauty retail environment
- Genuinely warm and confident with strangers — not shy, not pushy, naturally engaging
- Comfortable approaching people in a mall corridor and starting a conversation
- Speaks English fluently — Arabic or Hindi is a strong plus given our customer base
- Knows basic beauty services well enough to explain and recommend them
- Organised, reliable, punctual — the appointment book is your responsibility
