Salesforce Technical Lead

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Own Salesforce workstream delivery from solution design through development, deployment, and go-live.
• Lead client discovery and design sessions; turn business requirements into scalable solutions and client-ready technical documentation.
• Guide teams on technical roadmaps, architecture, and platform decisions; lead and mentor developers and uphold coding standards.
• Manage technical plans, risks, dependencies, timelines, and resourcing; align delivery with project goals, budgets, and expectations.
• Drive agile/Scrum delivery, bridge developers with project leaders and clients, and maintain documentation, knowledge transfer, and code quality.
• Advise on Salesforce solutions and business development; stay current with platform capabilities and emerging technologies.
• Use AI tools such as Claude Code to accelerate design and development and safely validate and roll out changes.

Essential requirements

• 10+ years of consulting or technology experience, including 7+ years of Salesforce experience.
• Proven Technical Lead or Technical Architect experience on enterprise Salesforce implementations, including multiple successful agile or iterative implementations.
• Strong experience designing and delivering complex Salesforce solutions and integrations with third-party and client systems.
• Strong Salesforce architecture and CRM ecosystem knowledge; experience with technical design sessions, deliverables, and documentation.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and architectures.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience contributing to business development and pre-sales as a Salesforce subject-matter expert.
• Active Salesforce certifications or willingness to earn relevant ones; bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh or Jeddah, and willing to travel to client sites when needed.

Technology and platform experience

• Build Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, integrations, web services, and data migration.
• Understand Salesforce architecture, platform and governor limits, APIs, security, data, and integration patterns.
• Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud; exposure to Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, and MuleSoft.

Nice to have

• Arabic language skills.
• Hands-on Amadeus Digital Integration Hub experience, including its event and data model, topics, and schemas.
• Kafka/Confluent event streaming experience, including consumer groups, Schema Registry, and Avro/JSON serialization.
• Experience integrating Amadeus Web Services and APIs; data transformation and mapping, especially nested JSON and EDIFACT into a canonical relational model.
• Travel, aviation, or hospitality programme background; previous delivery experience in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC.
