Salesforce Commerce Cloud Front End PWA Developer

Position summary

Storefront development and quality

• Build and maintain PWA storefront features including product detail pages, product listing pages, cart, and checkout using the Retail React App template.
• Monitor SonarQube reports and implement architectural fixes to improve quality-gate scores.
• Implement and extend SCAPI/OCAPI integrations and map data between SFCC and the React frontend.
• Deploy and manage bundle versions and environment configurations in Salesforce Managed Runtime.
• Implement secure shopper authentication with SLAS.
• Translate high-fidelity designs into responsive, accessible, performant React components.
• Collaborate with product, UX/UI, and backend teams on end-to-end user journeys.
• Troubleshoot production issues using SFCC Log Center, MRT logs, and browser debugging tools.
• Participate in scrums and work with systems integration partners to deliver business requirements.

Additional scope

• Provide leadership and guidance to outsourced vendor resources; maintain the environment to minimize budget overruns.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on data product development and prioritization, and recommend technology investments and improvements.
• Ensure solutions align with business needs, emphasizing usability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• The role may require domestic and international travel.

Qualifications and experience

• Requires 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Requires 2+ headless storefront implementation experiences; full-cycle SFCC Composable Storefront/PWA Kit implementation is preferred.
• Requires expert React knowledge, including Hooks, Context API, server-side rendering, and state management.
• Requires mastery of SFCC concepts, including SCAPI and OCAPI.
• Requires proven experience resolving code-quality platform findings, including vulnerabilities, code smells, and maintainability debt.
• Requires expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, ES6+, and Chakra UI or a similar CSS-in-JS library.
• Requires integration experience with OMS, payment gateways via SLAS, and third-party services in a decoupled environment.
