Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of direct sales representatives to ensure achievement of the annual financial and account targets set by the Manager – Direct Sales and provide any support and effective corrective measures needed.
- Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets.
- Meet weekly with the Sales Representatives and obtain their feedback regarding gaps and or weaknesses affecting the business, analyse variances of the actual and projected financial figures and take necessary action.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans for the team members.
- Implement ongoing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team and foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales department.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of relevant experience in banking or financial services in the UAE or GCC.
- Minimum 3 years in Islamic Banking with a direct focus on consumer/retail finance sales.
- Minimum 2 year in a team leader, supervisor, or sales captain role managing field sales staff.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding retail finance sales targets.
