Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site
Sales Operations Manager
role based in Doha, Qatar.
The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for managing daily sales operations, improving sales performance, leading showroom teams, enhancing customer experience, and actively driving sales growth across retail outlets, VIP customers, corporate clients, private sales, and online channels.
The role will oversee store sales performance, sales pipeline management, customer relationship activities, stock coordination, campaign execution, sales forecasting, CRM discipline, and performance reporting.
The Sales Operations Manager will work closely with sales teams, marketing, finance, inventory, and senior leadership to ensure business targets are achieved and sales processes are executed efficiently.
Sales Growth & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets across showrooms and sales channels.
- Develop practical sales action plans to increase showroom, online, VIP, and corporate sales.
- Identify new sales opportunities through VIP clients, corporate customers, bulk orders, gifting packages, private sales, and partnerships.
- Drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives to increase average transaction value.
- Convert walk-in customers, inquiries, leads, and repeat customers into confirmed sales.
- Monitor sales pipeline, follow-ups, and conversion rates to ensure consistent business growth.
Store Sales Operations
- Oversee day-to-day sales activities across all showrooms.
- Ensure stores are fully ready for business, including product display, pricing accuracy, stock availability, grooming standards, and customer service readiness.
- Monitor store-wise performance and take corrective action where sales are below target.
- Ensure all sales processes, POS usage, CRM updates, and reporting requirements are followed correctly.
- Coordinate stock transfers between branches based on demand, sales movement, and customer requirements.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, train, guide, and motivate sales staff to achieve individual and store targets.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
- Train teams on product knowledge, customer handling, upselling, cross-selling, and closing techniques.
- Ensure staff maintain proper discipline, grooming, customer service standards, and brand presentation.
- Identify performance gaps and recommend improvement plans for sales team members.
VIP & Customer Relationship Management
- Manage VIP customers, private appointments, and exclusive product previews.
- Arrange private home previews or personalized product presentations for selected VIP clients where required.
- Maintain and improve the customer database for repeat sales, follow-ups, and personalized engagement.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure a consistent, premium customer experience.
- Handle escalated customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
Corporate Sales Support
- Build and maintain relationships with companies, hotels, banks, real estate firms, government-related entities, and corporate clients.
- Promote premium gifting packages, bulk purchase opportunities, and special corporate collections.
- Follow up with corporate leads and convert them into confirmed orders.
- Coordinate with internal teams to prepare corporate proposals, product selections, and pricing options.
Inventory & Slow-Moving Stock Management
- Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and dead stock items across all branches.
- Recommend controlled sales plans for old stock without affecting brand image.
- Support private sales, archive collection campaigns, bundle offers, and VIP previews for selected stock.
- Work closely with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure the right products are available at the right locations.
- Provide feedback on product demand, customer preferences, sizes, colors, and stock gaps.
Campaign & Promotion Execution
- Coordinate with the marketing team for product launches, seasonal campaigns, private sales, archive collections, and promotional activities.
- Ensure sales teams are properly briefed before every campaign.
- Track campaign performance, customer response, sales results, and conversion rates.
- Share campaign feedback and improvement recommendations with management.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management.
- Analyze branch-wise sales, product-wise sales, customer trends, staff performance, and campaign performance.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline updates, and sales forecasting reports.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
- Provide management with actionable insights to improve sales, operations, customer experience, and profitability.
Process Improvement & Coordination
- Review existing sales processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
- Coordinate with finance, marketing, inventory, and leadership teams to ensure smooth sales operations.
- Support implementation of sales tools, CRM systems, dashboards, and reporting platforms.
- Assist in designing sales incentive schemes, performance tracking models, and customer service improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in sales operations, retail sales management, commercial operations, or a similar role.
- Experience in luxury retail, fashion, leather goods, lifestyle products, or premium customer service is an advantage.
- Strong ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Good understanding of showroom operations, stock movement, customer handling, and sales team management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and prepare actionable reports.
- Experience with CRM systems, POS systems, sales tools, and business reporting platforms.
- Advanced Excel or similar analytics skills are an advantage.
- Strong communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage VIP customers, corporate clients, and frontline sales teams professionally.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in a fast-paced environment in Doha, Qatar.
