Sales & Marketing Executive

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence in the freight forwarding sector.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and qualifying potential clients, including importers, exporters, manufacturers, and traders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, addressing their needs and concerns, and upselling additional services where possible.
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements, and incorporate findings into marketing strategies.
• Create compelling marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content, to showcase the company's services and capabilities.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company's brand and establish connections within the freight forwarding community.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients, negotiating terms and closing deals to meet sales targets.
• Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and market dynamics to adapt sales and marketing strategies accordingly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
• 3-8 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
• Fluency in English and Arabic languages is preferred.
