Job Description
The Sales Manager is responsible for executing Brenntag KSA’s sales strategy and representing the company in a professional manner in their sales territory while growing sales, gross profit and reporting on activities to external and internal audiences.
He/she will become part of the Brenntag Essential Business Model.
Required Business Acumen
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential customers and opportunities within the western region in Energy, WT, Agro and industrial chemical sector within his/her territory.
- Managing ongoing, long-term contracts with clients, making sure we fulfil them in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth, and ensuring that it is both profitable and practical.
- Working with our regional management team as well as the global management team on developing and implementing a strategy in order to accelerate our growth in the regions with their help.
- Ensuring that all orders are placed on time and that all requirements are met by monitoring the entire supply chain for the products relevant to my clients and placed on time and all of the requirements by the regulating bodies are met.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Provide technical expertise and product demonstrations to customers, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Responsible for the development of business for the western region in the energy, WT, Agro & industrial sector, which involves communicating with our international sourcing organization and providing products to our established clientele within the sector.
- Prepare detailed sales proposals and quotations, ensuring accurate pricing and product specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales campaigns for key suppliers & partners.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the upstream oil and gas industry.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
- Managing the whole team of Customer Service and troubleshooting their problems.
- Helping and supporting the logistics team with the delivery of products ensuring client satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans for key clients in the western region.
- Adhere to company sales policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Ability to travel in high volume in KSA and regions (30-40% of the time)
- Arabic will be considered as an asset
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably Petroleum/Chemical).
- Minimum of 6 years of trackable experience in sales, account management, planning and implementing sales strategies & technical support within the Saudi Arabia.
- Strong technical knowledge of oil and gas products and services.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Valid KSA driving license
- Valid Iqama with transferable option without any legal obligation in QIWA
- Wholesale/Distribution/Chemical industry is preferred
- In addition, the ideal candidate possesses:
- Pro-active self-starter, willing to accept responsibility for business task.
- Strong knowledge of chemical distribution in the chemical distribution market and the competition
- Proven ability to execute and implement sales strategies for profitable growth
- Ability to foster relationships with key principal and customer accounts
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently
- Demonstrated listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of customers, personnel, and management
- Excellent time management, organization, follow up, and task prioritization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
