Job Summary
Smart Joules is looking for a motivated Automation Sales Intern to support the sales team in promoting industrial automation solutions.
The intern will assist in lead generation, client communication, market research, and preparation of sales proposals for automation products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist sales team in identifying potential customers and generating leads.
- Support business development activities for automation solutions.
- Understand company automation products such as PLC, SCADA, Robotics, IIoT, BMS, and HVAC Automation.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales documentation.
- Coordinate with technical and project teams for solution discussions.
- Maintain CRM data and track sales pipeline.
- Participate in client meetings and product demonstrations.
- Follow up with clients for inquiries and quotations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
- Interest in Technical Sales or the Automation Industry.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Basic understanding of industrial automation concepts.
- MS Office and CRM tools knowledge preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, Industrial Automation.
- Understanding of HVAC, BMS, or Smart Building solutions.
- Sales or marketing internship experience.
