Role overview

Requirements

• At least 2 years of UAE logistics or freight forwarding sales experience; the description also labels this experience preferred in a later section.
• A valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving Licence is described as mandatory, though the license section labels it preferred.
• Strong knowledge of import and export procedures, Incoterms, international shipping terms, freight modes, and UAE customs clearance.
• Knowledge of Dubai Customs, BOE, and shipping documentation is an advantage.
• Understanding of door-to-door logistics, container transportation, port operations, and empty return procedures.
• Able to prepare freight quotations and pricing and coordinate with customers, shipping lines, transporters, customs, and operations teams.
• Strong customer relationship, negotiation, and communication skills; able to generate new business and achieve sales targets.
• An existing UAE logistics customer network is advantageous.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new logistics and freight forwarding business.
• Visit customers and develop new accounts.
• Prepare and negotiate competitive freight quotations.
• Handle customer requirements for import, export, and door-to-door shipments.
• Coordinate with operations for smooth shipment execution.
• Follow up on enquiries, quotations, and payments.
• Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Achieve monthly sales targets.

Pay

• Pay is AED 3,000–4,000 per month.

Workplace

• Work is in person; customer visits are part of the role.
