Job Summary

The Sales Executive is responsible for generating revenue by promoting the hotel's rooms, banquet facilities, food and beverage outlets, and other services.

The role focuses on developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, achieving sales targets, and enhancing the hotel's market presence while ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new corporate, government, travel agency, and leisure business opportunities.
  • Promote hotel rooms, meeting facilities, events, and F&B services to potential clients.
  • Conduct sales calls, client visits, and presentations to generate business.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts, proposals, and quotations.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management.
  • Follow up on inquiries and convert leads into confirmed business.

Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key accounts.
  • Handle customer requests, complaints, and inquiries professionally.
  • Conduct regular client visits to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Organize site inspections and hotel tours for prospective clients.

Marketing & Promotion

  • Participate in hotel promotional campaigns, exhibitions, and networking events.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Department to develop sales promotions and packages.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Promote the hotel's brand image and services through various sales channels.

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate client records and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Submit sales forecasts and business development plans.
  • Ensure all contracts and agreements comply with hotel policies.

Coordination

  • Work closely with Front Office, Reservations, Banquet, and F&B departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Coordinate event requirements and guest expectations with operational departments.
  • Assist in organizing corporate events, conferences, and group bookings.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a 4-star or 5-star hotel.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and hotel sales systems.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic or additional languages is an advantage.
  • Valid Qatar Driving License is preferred.
