Overview
Cat Planet, a leading pet supplies retailer in Qatar specializing in premium cat food, litter, accessories, and grooming products, is looking for a motivated **Sales Executive** to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting the right products based on their needs.
- Promote and upsell high-demand items and new arrivals.
- Maintain excellent product knowledge across all categories (food, litter, accessories, toys).
- Ensure proper display and merchandising of products.
- Handle in-store sales, customer inquiries, and after‑sales support.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure product availability.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Build strong customer relationships to increase repeat business.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail or sales (pet industry is a plus).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure during peak hours.
- Basic computer skills (POS system, inventory software).
- Passion for pets, especially cats, is highly preferred.
- Must be currently in Qatar with valid residency.

- Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Service
- Greet customers and provide professional assistance.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
- Promote best‑selling and high‑margin items.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when needed.
Product Knowledge
- Maintain updated knowledge of all product categories:
- Cat food (dry, wet, treats)
- Litter types
- Accessories, toys, grooming items
- Educate customers on product benefits and usage.
Store Operations
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked and well‑organized.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the store.
- Assist in receiving and arranging new stock.
- Support the team during rush hours.
Sales Processing
- Operate POS system accurately.
- Handle cash, card payments, and refunds.
- Prepare daily sales reports when required.
Teamwork & Coordination
- Work closely with the supervisor to achieve sales targets.
- Coordinate with the inventory team for stock replenishment.
- Participate in monthly stock counts.

- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in retail or sales.
- Experience in pet shops is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

- 8–10 hours per shift (depending on company policy).
- Weekend and evening shifts may be required.
