Sales Executive

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist walk-in customers, interior designers, contractors, consultants, and other potential buyers visiting the showroom.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable marble, granite, and other natural stone materials based on design, application, quality, and budget.
• Explain product specifications, finishes, colours, availability, and pricing to customers.
• Prepare quotations, follow up on inquiries, negotiate prices within approved limits, and convert inquiries into confirmed sales.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and develop new customer accounts.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and operations teams regarding stock availability, material selection, reservations, and deliveries.
• Maintain proper showroom displays, product samples, catalogues, and product presentation.
• Keep records of customer inquiries, quotations, sales orders, and follow-up activities.
• Follow up with customers to secure orders and encourage repeat business.
• Monitor customer preferences, market trends, and competitor pricing.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and submit regular sales reports to management.
• Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer complaints professionally.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in showroom sales, preferably in marble, granite, natural stone, tiles, or building materials.
• Experience dealing with walk-in customers, interior designers, contractors, and other trade customers.
• Good knowledge of marble and natural stone products, finishes, and applications is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales documentation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
