The Opportunity
This position is based in Jeddah and supports the Western & South Region within Abbott Rapid Diagnostic Division.
Divisional Information
- Rapid diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories, and clinics around the globe.
- The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments, and informatics systems is often the first step in patient care decision-making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.
- Provision of support to:
- Western & South Region (based in Jeddah) sales business through effective execution of sales activities within the assigned territory.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the Cardiometabolic business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the distributor and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth processing, delivery, and customer support.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with Abbott guidelines and Abbott ethical policies.
- Provide on-site product demonstrations, training, and post-installation support to customers to ensure proper utilization and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territory.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Execute territory sales plans to achieve sales, revenue, and market share targets.
- Maintain and grow existing customer accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
- Conduct regular customer visits, follow-ups, and account reviews.
- Provide ongoing customer support including product installations and training sessions.
- Collaborate with internal and distributor teams to ensure successful execution of business plans.
Requirements
- 2 – 4 years of experience in medical diagnostics sales.
- Experience in the KSA healthcare system (MOH, Private sector).
- Strong communication, presentation and customer relationship management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle customer issues effectively.
- Ability to deliver product training and support product implementation activities.
- Laboratory experience is preferred.

- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with Abbott’s ethical standards and local regulations.
- Follow applicable company policies and procedures in all customer interactions and business activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting of all sales and customer-related activities.
