Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and technically competent Sales Engineer to drive business development and sales activities for swimming pool construction projects across the UAE.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with commercial acumen to identify opportunities, develop customized solutions, and support clients throughout the sales and project lifecycle.

1. Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the residential, commercial, hospitality, leisure, and government sectors.
  • Generate leads through networking, client visits, consultants, contractors, developers, and industry contacts.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets for swimming pool projects.
  • Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals in line with client requirements.

2. Technical Consultation & Solution Selling

  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable pool construction solutions, equipment, filtration systems, water treatment systems, and maintenance packages.
  • Conduct site visits, surveys, and technical assessments to support project quotations and proposals.
  • Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients, consultants, architects, and contractors.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to ensure technically sound and commercially viable solutions.

3. Tendering, Estimation & Proposal Management

  • Review project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and tender documents.
  • Prepare cost estimates, quotations, technical submissions, and bid documentation.
  • Ensure proposals comply with project requirements, local regulations, and company standards.
  • Follow up on submitted quotations and negotiate commercial terms to secure orders.

4. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, consultants, contractors, facility management companies, and end users.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the sales process.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and post-sales support.
  • Identify opportunities for repeat business, upgrades, annual maintenance contracts, and cross-selling initiatives.

5. Market Intelligence & Product Development

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within the swimming pool and water treatment industry.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding customer requirements, market opportunities, and product improvements.
  • Support marketing initiatives, exhibitions, industry events, and promotional activities when required.

6. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, quotations, and customer interactions within the CRM system.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence reports.
  • Track project progress from inquiry through award and handover.

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or sales engineering within the swimming pool industry.
  • Proven experience in the UAE market with an established network of consultants, contractors, developers, and project stakeholders preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical understanding of swimming pool systems, filtration equipment, pumps, water treatment systems, and pool maintenance practices.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
  • Strong commercial awareness and project coordination capabilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and estimation/proposal preparation tools.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Additional certifications related to swimming pools, water treatment, or technical sales will be advantageous.

Other Requirements

  • Good knowledge of UAE construction standards, swimming pool regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic language skills will be an added advantage.
  • Valid UAE driving license.
