In this role, you will serve as the technical backbone of our sales operations, leveraging your deep understanding of chemical engineering to drive revenue growth.
You will work at the intersection of technology and commerce, providing expert guidance to clients while managing complex B2B sales cycles for our chemical products and systems.
Job Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to drive revenue by delivering technical expertise throughout the sales process for chemical products and systems.
The Technical Sales Engineer will apply chemical engineering principles to translate customer process requirements into precise product specifications, effectively bridging the gap between technical product knowledge and customer needs to close sales successfully.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Drive revenue by providing technical expertise during the sales process for chemical products or systems
- Apply chemical engineering principles to support sales activities and customer engagements
- Translate customer process requirements into detailed product specifications
- Manage complex B2B sales cycles from initial inquiry through to deal closure
- Bridge the gap between technical product knowledge and customer needs to close sales
- Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients
- Collaborate with internal engineering and R&D teams to develop customized solutions
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and bid responses
- Conduct site visits and technical assessments to understand customer process requirements
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of chemical industry trends, products, and competitive landscape
