Sales Engineer role focused on equipment rental for the oil and gas sector.
Generate new business, develop client relationships, and grow revenue by promoting the equipment portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the oil and gas sector.
- Promote rental of temporary buildings, accommodation units, site offices, generators, power distribution equipment, lighting towers, diesel tanks, fencing, and other available equipment.
- Manage RFQs, tenders, quotations, and commercial negotiations.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure equipment availability and timely project delivery.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and technical presentations.
- Develop long-term client relationships and framework agreements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of sales or business development experience in equipment rental; oil and gas experience is preferred.
- Experience working with ADNOC Group companies, EPC contractors, drilling companies, or oilfield service providers.
- Good understanding of equipment-rental solutions, technical specifications, and project requirements.
- Knowledge of tendering, vendor registration, commercial negotiations, and client prequalification processes.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Valid UAE driving license.
