Sales & Customer Service Assistant – The Cake Lab

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Handle inquiries through WhatsApp, phone calls, social media, and walk-in visits; help customers choose cake designs, flavors, sizes, themes, and standard cakes.
• Explain product options, prices, availability, and delivery arrangements; record orders accurately and prepare quotations.
• Follow up on inquiries to convert them into sales; coordinate with production to ensure accurate, timely orders.
• Manage dispatch, deliveries, and customer collections; handle complaints and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Maintain order and payment records and daily sales reports using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Tally.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of food and beverage experience are required.
• Sales, customer service, or bakery/cake shop operations experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Tally; familiarity with WhatsApp Business and social media inquiries.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure during weekends, holidays, and busy periods.

Compensation

• Pay is listed as AED 2,000–3,000 per month.

Workplace

• Full-time, on-site role at The Cake Lab in JLT, Dubai.
