Role overview
The Sales Coordinator supports the sales team with orders, distributor and dealer coordination, recordkeeping, and communication with internal teams and clients.
The role involves consumer durables and home appliances and day-to-day operational and administrative tasks.
Reports to the Sales Manager or Sales Head.
Key responsibilities
- Process orders from dealers, distributors, and e-commerce platforms.
- Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products such as mixers, irons, and nonstick cookware.
- Maintain sales records, inventory data, and customer databases.
- Follow up with clients and sales executives on order status, payment collection, and stock availability.
- Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports with management.
- Prepare quotations, generate invoices, and support documentation.
- Assist the sales team with product details, pricing, offers, and promotional schemes.
- Handle customer queries and complaints and coordinate with service teams for resolution.
- Support sales campaigns, exhibitions, and product launches.
- Coordinate with marketing on POP materials, brochures, and digital campaigns; track the marketing team's day-to-day activity.
- Prepare the final report for the Sales Head.
Qualifications and skills
- Graduate in any discipline; B.Com or BBA is preferred.
- Requires 2–4 years of experience in sales coordination or a back-office role; home appliances industry experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and sales software or ERP systems.
- Good verbal and written communication and coordination skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to multitask and work under deadlines.
- Basic understanding of home appliance products and their specifications.
Pay and benefits
- Pay is ₹20,000–₹30,000 per month.
- Benefits include paid sick time, paid time off, and Provident Fund.
Workplace and employment
- Full-time, permanent role.
- Work location is in person at Dahisar Check Naka.
