About Nexaguard Cyber Labs

Nexaguard Cyber Labs is a Dubai-based cybersecurity consultancy specialising in penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, ISO 27001 compliance, and security advisory services for businesses across the UAE and GCC region. We work with mid-market organisations in fintech, healthcare, logistics, and technology to identify and address security risks before they become incidents.

We are at an exciting stage of growth and are looking for a driven business development professional to join us on a contract basis and play a key role in expanding our client portfolio across the region.

Role Overview

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the UAE and broader GCC market. Working closely with the founder and leadership team, you will be the primary driver of client acquisition — building relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their security challenges, and positioning Nexaguard's services as the solution.

This role is ideally suited to a self-motivated professional with an established network in the UAE technology or financial services sector, who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and is motivated by results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and engage potential clients across target sectors including fintech, healthcare, logistics, and technology
  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline of opportunities from initial outreach through to contract execution
  • Develop a thorough understanding of client business challenges and align Nexaguard's service offerings to their specific needs
  • Represent Nexaguard at client meetings, industry events, and networking forums across the UAE
  • Prepare and present tailored proposals in collaboration with the technical team
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and pipeline status
  • Provide regular market intelligence and client feedback to inform service development and go-to-market strategy
  • Build long-term relationships with clients to support retention and upselling opportunities

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales or business development experience within cybersecurity, IT services, managed services, or a closely related technology sector
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in the UAE or GCC market
  • Strong understanding of the UAE business landscape and the ability to navigate complex, relationship-driven sales cycles
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage confidently at CXO and senior management level
  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Fluency in English is required — proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing network within UAE fintech, healthcare, or technology sectors
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts including VAPT, ISO 27001, PDPL, and NESA compliance frameworks
  • Prior experience in a startup or boutique consultancy environment
  • UAE driving license

Compensation

This is a commission-based contract engagement with an attractive earnings structure tied directly to performance. Specific commercial terms will be discussed during the interview process. High performers will be considered for a full-time position with a competitive base salary package as the business scales.
