Education and Experience

• Qualifications:
• Education, Qualifications and Certifications:
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• WHMIS Certificate
• First Aid Certificate.
• Experience and Skilled Knowledge Requirements
• A minimum of three (3) months prior related experience,
• Alternative combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Ability and willingness to undergo applicable screening and background checks successfully that are satisfactory to The Salvation Army, in its sole discretion (i.e., The Salvation Army Abuse Registry) and provide an original copy of a Background Check screening.
• Skills and Capabilities (examples provided below):
• Respect and understanding of The Salvation Army – its mission, culture, and values
• Provide an original copy of a Background Check with vulnerable sector screening that is satisfactory to The Salvation Army, in its sole discretion, is required.
• Ability to work in compliance with fire safety, health & safety and emergency procedures
• Willingness to be trained and follow direction
• Attention to detail
• Strong sense of integrity and confidentiality
