EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Willingness to develop an understanding and support for the mission and purpose of The Salvation Army in Canada and its implications as related to position responsibilities.

• Education, Qualifications and Certifications:
• Completion of Secondary School.
• Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Experience and Knowledge:
• Up to 1 year of prior related experience including custodial and life skills and general familiarity with cleaning and maintenance procedures and equipment.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety Standards.
• Skills and Capabilities:
• Represent the organization in a professional, and engaging manner.
• Ability to work independently and also participate as an active and responsible team member in a cooperative team environment.
• Self-motivated and reliable
• Strong sense of integrity and confidentiality
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Respectful behaviour and positive attitude to tenants and clients to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere and successful relationships.

• Must comply with all Salvation Army policies, procedures, and associated legislation.
• The target hiring range for this position is $17.00 to $18.08 with a maximum of $21.69.
• Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
