Role overview

Full-time Sales Associate reporting to the Store Manager at Shoppers World in Brampton.

Availability of 32–40 hours per week is required, including mall hours, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Engage mall shoppers and follow the sales process.
  • Build and maintain prospective-client lists using the CRM tool.
  • Promote WOW! and represented brands in the mall environment.
  • Provide personalized, unbiased advice and a strong customer experience.
  • Achieve business metrics and participate in documented coaching conversations.
  • Receive, label, secure, and manage inventory.
  • Follow merchandising and daily store cleanliness standards.
  • Complete daily operations, including opening and closing the kiosk.
  • Complete required training and stay current on promotions, products, services, and policies.
  • Follow policies and procedures and maintain integrity.
  • Manage cash, point-of-sale, and inventory systems; prioritize work with urgency and adapt to change.

Candidate requirements

  • Customer-facing experience in retail or hospitality using a point-of-sale system.
  • Availability during mall hours, including evenings and weekends; the role is 32–40 hours per week.
  • Wireless retail or commission sales experience is an asset.
  • Ability to lift 30–50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Able to initiate conversations with shoppers, adapt in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Open to coaching and feedback.

Compensation

  • Pay is $17.95 per hour plus commission; the commission structure is uncapped.
