Role overview

Full-time Sales Associate reporting to the Store Manager at Bramalea City Centre in Brampton, Ontario.

The role sells wireless carrier plans, devices, and accessories while providing personalized advice and customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Engage mall shoppers, follow the sales process, and build prospective-client lists using the CRM tool.
  • Promote the retailer and its brands; provide personalized, unbiased advice and deliver strong customer experiences.
  • Achieve business metrics and participate in documented coaching conversations and training.
  • Manage inventory receiving, signing, and security; maintain merchandising and store cleanliness standards.
  • Open and close the kiosk and complete daily operations tasks; stay informed about promotions, products, services, and policies.
  • Handle cash and operate point-of-sale and inventory systems; manage competing priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Customer-facing retail or hospitality experience using a point-of-sale system.
  • Availability to work mall hours, including evenings and weekends, and for 32–40 hours per week.
  • Wireless retail or commission sales experience is an asset.
  • Ability to lift 30–50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Compensation and benefits

  • Pay is $17.95 per hour plus commission, with an uncapped commission structure.
  • Benefits include 50% of the monthly wireless plan, performance-based rewards and recognition, group benefits, and dedicated training and coaching.

Schedule

  • Full-time hours are 32–40 hours per week; shifts may include evenings and weekends during mall hours.

Workplace

  • The role is located at the Bramalea City Centre kiosk in Brampton, Ontario and includes an in-person store visit during recruitment.
