Sales Assistant

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Support salespeople with daily customer inquiries and requests; receive, organize, and process inquiries.
• Check product information, availability, and pricing through company systems and available sources.
• Prepare quotations accurately and quickly; create and process orders with salespeople.
• Enter and update inquiries, quotations, orders, and customer information in the company system.
• Follow up on pending quotations and customer requests, and track confirmed orders until completion.
• Coordinate with purchasing on pricing and availability, the warehouse on stock and deliveries, and accounts when required.
• Keep salespeople updated about pending orders, shortages, delays, and other issues.
• Maintain Excel sheets, price lists, reports, sales-related data, and accurate records; follow tasks through completion.
• Assist the sales team with other daily operational requirements.

Candidate requirements

• Good computer skills and good Microsoft Excel skills are required.
• Work quickly and accurately with data and computer systems, with strong attention to detail.
• Have good organizational and follow-up skills and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Communicate and work well with colleagues; take ownership of assigned tasks and follow them through to completion.
• Be willing and able to learn new systems, products, and processes.
• Previous Sales Assistant, Sales Coordinator, Back Office Sales, or similar experience is preferred.
• Automotive spare parts industry experience is an advantage; knowledge of genuine Japanese automotive spare parts is an additional advantage.

Schedule

• Working days are Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM; Sunday is the weekly day off.
• Candidates are asked to consider the working days and hours before applying.

Workplace

• Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.

Compensation

• Pay starts at AED 3,000 per month.
