Job Purpose
Support the sales team with customer orders, sales records, product information, and daily sales activities.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist the Sales Team in daily sales activities.
- Receive and process customer orders.
- Prepare sales orders, invoices, and delivery documents.
- Enter customer and sales information correctly in the system.
- Follow up with customers regarding orders and deliveries.
- Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Delivery teams.
- Check product availability before confirming customer orders.
- Inform customers about new products, offers, and promotions.
- Maintain good relationships with customers.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints and report them to the Sales Supervisor.
- Prepare daily and weekly sales reports.
- Maintain proper sales records and documents.
Additional Duties
- Follow up on pending orders and payments when required.
- Support the sales team in achieving sales targets.
- Maintain updated customer information and contact details.
- Follow company food safety, hygiene, and company policies.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Sales Supervisor or Manager.
Requirements
- One to two years of experience in a Sales Assistant or similar position.
- Experience in FMCG or food production is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of sales and customer service.
- UAE experience is an advantage.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Skills Required
- Good communication skills.
- Basic English.
- Good customer service.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Good data entry, coordination, time-management, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team; honest, responsible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
