- A Salad Maker (or Prep/Commis Chef) is a culinary professional specializing in the assembly and preparation of fresh, cold food items.
- They are responsible for crafting visually appealing salads, managing inventory of fresh produce, and maintaining strict food safety and hygiene
- **Food Preparation:** Wash, peel, chop, and slice vegetables, fruits, and proteins. Prepare signature salad dressings, cold plates, and garnishes.
- **Plating & Presentation:** Assemble ingredients creatively to ensure visually stunning and appetizing dishes that meet restaurant or catering standards.
- **Food Safety & Sanitation:** Adhere strictly to hazard control protocols. Prevent cross-contamination, properly store perishables at safe temperatures, and sanitize workstations after use.
- **Inventory & Stock:** Monitor raw ingredient levels, rotate stock (FIFO), and report shortages or expiring produce to the head chef or manager.
- Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,200.00 per hour
