About This Role
Position: Safety Officer
Location: UAE
Experience Required: 4 – 5 years in UAE
Salary: Negotiable (based on experience & qualifications)
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality (DM), Trakhees, and other UAE regulatory authority safety standards.
- Implement and monitor the company’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies on-site.
- Conduct daily site inspections, identify potential hazards, and enforce corrective measures.
- Deliver safety induction and toolbox talks to workers, subcontractors, and site staff.
- Prepare, review, and maintain all HSE documentation, reports, and records as per Trakhees requirements.
- Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near-misses, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are in place.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and clients regarding all safety-related matters.
- Promote a safety-first culture among site teams through awareness programs and consistent monitoring.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety (preferred).
- 4 – 5 years of proven experience as a Safety Officer in the UAE.
- Must have worked under Trakhees Projects (mandatory).
- Possession of valid Trakhees & SARS approval is a must.
- NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent international HSE certification.
- Strong knowledge of UAE Labor Law, HSE standards, and authority requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to enforce safety compliance on-site.
