Responsibilities

Conduct regular safety inspections of MEP systems to identify hazards, ensuring compliance with local and international safety standards, and documenting findings for continuous improvement.

Develop and implement safety training programs tailored for MEP teams, enhancing awareness and understanding of safety protocols among all employees.

3.

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to integrate safety measures into project planning, ensuring that safety considerations are prioritized from the outset.

4.

Investigate incidents and near misses related to MEP systems, analyzing root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

5.

Prepare and maintain safety documentation, including risk assessments, safety plans, and incident reports, ensuring that all records are up-to-date and accessible.

6.

Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure its proper usage among staff working with MEP systems, promoting a culture of safety.

7.

Assist in the development of emergency response plans specific to MEP operations, ensuring that all staff are trained and aware of procedures in case of emergencies.

8.

Engage with regulatory bodies to stay updated on safety regulations affecting MEP systems, ensuring that the organization remains compliant with evolving standards.

9.

Conduct safety audits and assessments, providing recommendations for improvements based on findings, and tracking the implementation of safety measures across projects.

Skills

  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong FM background.
  • Covering both technical aspects (MEP systems) and hygiene/catering experience
