**Location**: Dubai, UAE
Al Hikma Building Contracting L.L.C. is seeking to hire an experienced Safety Officer to join its construction team.
**Requirements**
- Minimum 3 years of HSE/Safety experience in the UAE.
- Mandatory experience with a Main Contractor in construction projects.
- Valid NEBOSH Certification (IGC or equivalent).
- Valid IOSH Certification.
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, construction safety standards, and best practices.
- Experience in conducting site safety inspections, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
- Ability to prepare safety reports and maintain HSE records and documentation.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- **Key** **Responsibilities**:
- Ensure compliance with Company HSE policies, project requirements, and applicable UAE regulations.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Monitor implementation of safe work practices and corrective actions.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness programs.
- Prepare risk assessments and support the implementation of control measures.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and prepare relevant reports.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors on HSE matters.
- Maintain HSE records, reports, permits, and compliance documentation.
