Job Summary
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Officer to join our team for an oil and gas project in Ras Laffan.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while maintaining a safe working environment across the project site.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and standards on site.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Identify hazards and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and local regulations.
- Monitor daily site activities to ensure safe work practices are followed.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports.
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation and records.
- Coordinate with project teams and management on all safety-related matters.
Requirements
- Minimum **5 years of experience** as an HSE Officer in the **oil and gas industry** (mandatory).
- **QE Approval is mandatory**.
- **NEBOSH certification is mandatory**.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.

- **Duration:** 6 months (extendable based on project requirements and performance)
- **Location:** Ras Laffan
