Safety Officer for a client project team working on high-rise building construction in Dubai, UAE.
The role implements and monitors on-site safety procedures to support compliance with UAE regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site inspections and identify potential safety hazards.
- Ensure workers comply with safety standards and wear proper PPE.
- Maintain accident records and prepare safety reports.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and risk assessments.
- Assist with incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
- Liaise with site management and subcontractors to promote a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering or occupational safety.
- 6–8 years of UAE experience as a Safety Officer in construction, specifically high-rise buildings.
- Valid UAE safety certificates, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Available to join immediately.
