Full-time Safety Officer role supporting a client project team on high-rise building construction.
The officer will implement and monitor on-site safety procedures to meet UAE regulations and company policies.
Workplace
- The role is based on a construction site in Dubai, UAE, and requires in-person work.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site inspections and identify safety hazards.
- Ensure workers comply with safety standards and wear proper PPE.
- Maintain accident records and prepare safety reports.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and risk assessments.
- Assist with incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
- Liaise with site management and subcontractors to promote a safe work environment.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Engineering or Occupational Safety.
- 6–8 years of UAE experience as a Safety Officer in construction, specifically high-rise buildings.
- Valid UAE safety certificates, for example NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Available to join immediately.
