Safety Officer role responsible for maintaining a safe working environment through implementation and monitoring of health and safety policies and procedures.
Location stated in the description: Dubai, UAE.
Experience required: 3–5 years.
Job type: full-time.
Work location: in person.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and maintain health and safety standards at the worksite.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide safety training and toolbox talks to workers.
- Investigate accidents and incidents and prepare reports.
- Monitor PPE use and ensure proper safety practices.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a Safety Officer; construction or industrial experience is preferred.
- Relevant safety certification; NEBOSH or IOSH is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to handle site safety independently.
Compensation
- Salary is listed as AED 3,500–5,000 per month.
- A separate pay line says AED 3,500–5,000 per hour, which conflicts with the monthly salary listing.
