S&OP Senior Demand Analyst

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize demand forecasts using historical sales data, cross-functional inputs, AI-driven techniques, demand trends, customer orders, and product lifecycle changes.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, identify variance patterns, recommend improvement actions, and gather market intelligence.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and Product Management on customer demand patterns, project requirements, product introductions, and end-of-life planning.
• Lead monthly demand review meetings to align stakeholders on forecast assumptions, changes, and planning decisions.
• Analyze demand patterns, seasonality, and customer ordering behavior to identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare forecast accuracy reports, demand variance analysis, and KPIs to support inventory optimization and reduce obsolescence.

Background Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analysis.
• Basic AI and data science knowledge, including machine learning fundamentals, data visualization, and predictive analytics.
• Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP IBP, RELEX Solutions, or an equivalent demand planning tool.
• S&OP or IBP process knowledge is preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities, especially Excel.
• Stakeholder management ability and flexibility to work across time zones under changing business needs.
