Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance backend services using Rust for wallet and payment features
- Build and maintain consumer-facing APIs for account management, transactions, and real-time balance updates
- Ensure system scalability, reliability, and low-latency performance
- Implement secure transaction flows, including wallet top-ups, transfers, and withdrawals
- Collaborate with mobile, frontend, and product teams to deliver user-centric features
- Optimize system performance and memory efficiency
- Ensure strong security practices (encryption, authentication, fraud protection)
- Participate in system design, code reviews, and architecture discussions
Requirements
- 3–7+ years of backend development experience
- Strong proficiency in Rust
- Experience building high-performance, low-latency systems
- Familiarity with wallet systems, payments, or fintech products
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and networking
- Experience with REST/gRPC APIs
- Knowledge of security best practices in financial systems
